Day 1: Arrival in Cairo - The Adventure Begins

• Welcome to Cairo: Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative holding a "Valley of Kings Travel" sign.
• Enjoy a seamless transfer in a private, air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel.
• Check in and relax.

Day 2: Ancient Wonders of Cairo & Journey South

• Begin your day with breakfast at the hotel.
• Egyptian Museum: Delve into 5,000 years of history at the Egyptian Museum, home to the world's most extensive collection of Pharaonic antiquities. Be mesmerized by the golden treasures from the tomb of Tutankhamun.

Day 3: Aswan's Marvels & Nile Cruise Embarkation

• Enjoy breakfast on the train before arriving in Aswan.
• Aswan High Dam: Your first stop is the impressive Aswan High Dam, a modern engineering marvel.
• Philae Temple: Next, take a motorboat to the island of Agilkia to visit the stunning Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis.
• Nile Cruise Embarkation: Transfer to your 5-star Nile Cruise. Board before enjoying a delicious lunch on board.
• Set sail for Kom Ombo and relax with afternoon tea while watching the Nile's banks glide by.

• Return to the cruise and continue your scenic sail towards Luxor, passing through the Esna Lock.

Day 5: Luxor's West Bank - The Valley of the Kings

• Following breakfast, cross to Luxor's famed West Bank, the ancient necropolis of Thebes.
• Valley of the Kings: Descend into the tombs of the Pharaohs in the legendary Valley of the Kings.
• Temple of Hatshepsut: Visit the breathtaking mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari, a stunning architectural masterpiece set against a cliff face.
• Colossi of Memnon: On your return, pause to marvel at the two gigantic statues of the Colossi of Memnon.

Day 6: Disembarkation & Optional Luxor Tours

• Enjoy a final breakfast on board before disembarking from your Nile cruise.
• Today is free for you to explore Luxor on your own, or you can choose from our highly recommended optional experiences (see below).
• In the evening, you will be transferred to the train station for your overnight sleeper train back to Cairo.
• Accommodation & Meals: Dinner and overnight on the train.

Day 7: Final Departure from Cairo

• After breakfast on the train, you will arrive in Cairo.
• Our representative will meet you and provide a direct transfer to Cairo International Airport for your final departure.

Travel Recommendation

• The overnight sleeper train journey between Cairo and Upper Egypt is a classic experience, but it is lengthy (15-18 hours). For significantly enhanced comfort and to maximize your time, we highly recommend upgrading to domestic flights. This option allows you to travel quickly and comfortably and includes an extra night of accommodation in a 5-star hotel.

Optional Experiences in Luxor (Day 6)

• Sunrise Hot Air Balloon: For an unforgettable perspective, drift peacefully over Luxor's West Bank at dawn. Witness the Valley of the Kings and the temples below as the sun rises over the Nile. (Flight duration approx. 30-45 mins).
