Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Alexandria

  • Upon arrival at Alexandria Airport, a dedicated representative from “Valley of Kings Travel” will greet you, holding a sign for easy identification.
  • You will be transferred in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel in Alexandria for check-in.
  • Overnight stay in Alexandria.

Day 2: Full-Day Alexandria Tour

  • Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before meeting your knowledgeable tour guide.
  • Your first stop is the Alexandria Library, the largest library in the world, boasting a collection of 8 million books. You will explore its impressive open court and complimentary museums.
    • Note: The library is closed on Fridays and public holidays. An extra ticket is required to access the reading area.
  • Next, visit the site of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, where the historic Citadel of Qaitbay now stands.

  • After a break for lunch, visit the Church of St. Mark, the oldest church in Africa.
  • Take a scenic 30-kilometer drive along the Corniche to see the city from the seaside, passing the old harbor where 7,000 underwater monuments were discovered.
  • Make a brief stop at the iconic Stanley Bridge, a modern landmark of Alexandria.
  • Conclude the tour with a stroll through the old city center, originally built by Alexander the Great, before returning to your hotel.

Day 3: Cairo Pyramids & Museum Tour

  • Following breakfast, you will be transferred from your hotel in Alexandria to Cairo in an air-conditioned vehicle.
  • Begin your tour in Cairo with a visit to the Great Pyramids of Giza: Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos, and the enigmatic Great Sphinx.
