Day 1: Arrival in Cairo

  • Accommodation: Overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 2: Cairo's Ancient Wonders

  • Morning:

  • Afternoon:

Day 4: Travel to Aswan via Sleeper Train

  • Morning: Transfer from your Alexandria hotel back to Cairo by air-conditioned car.
  • Evening: Board an overnight sleeper train to Aswan.
  • Enjoy dinner and an overnight journey on the train.
  • Note That: The sleeper train journey can take 15-18 hours. We highly recommend upgrading to a quick domestic flight. This option provides a more comfortable and time-efficient travel experience, plus an additional night's accommodation in your hotel.

Day 5: Arrival in Aswan

  • Morning: Enjoy breakfast on the train before arriving in Aswan.
  • Transfer to your hotel and check in.
  • Spend the day at leisure in Aswan.
  • Accommodation: Overnight in Aswan.

Day 6: Aswan's Engineering & Ancient Marvels

  • Optional Morning: Take an optional excursion to the magnificent Temples of Abu Simbel, carved by Ramses II from a sandstone cliff.
  • Afternoon:
    • Aswan High Dam: Marvel at this modern engineering feat, offering views of Lake Nasser.
    • Philae Temple: Sail by traditional felucca to Agilkia Island to visit the stunning Temple of Isis, relocated to save it from the rising waters of Lake Nasser.
  • Late Afternoon:
    • Transfer to your Nile Cruise ship for embarkation.

    • Sail to Kom Ombo.
