Embark on an unforgettable 11-day adventure through Egypt's most iconic landscapes. From the ancient majesty of the Giza Pyramids and the treasures of Cairo to a serene cruise down the lifeblood of Egypt, the Nile River, this tour offers a perfect blend of history, culture, and relaxation, culminating in the sun-drenched beaches of the Red Sea.

Day 1: Arrival in the Land of Pharaohs (Cairo)

• Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by our representative holding a "Valley of Kings Travel" sign.
• Enjoy a comfortable transfer in a private, air-conditioned (A/C) vehicle to your hotel.
• Accommodation: Overnight in Cairo.

Day 2: Ancient Wonders of Giza & the Egyptian Museum (Cairo)

• After breakfast, begin your full-day tour starting with the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, home to an unparalleled collection of 5,000 years of art. Marvel at the treasures of Tutankhamun's tomb, including his iconic golden mask.
• Journey to the Giza Plateau to witness the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerion.
• Get an up-close look at the Great Sphinx, the legendary guardian with the body of a lion and the head of a king.
• In the evening, transfer to the train station for your overnight sleeper train to Aswan. Dinner is served on board.
• Recommended Upgrade: The overnight train journey takes 15-18 hours. For superior comfort and to save time, we highly recommend upgrading to a domestic flight. This option includes an extra night's accommodation in your 5-star Cairo hotel.

Day 3: Journey to Aswan & Nile Cruise Embarkation

• Enjoy breakfast on the train before arriving in Aswan.
• Your Aswan tour begins with a visit to the impressive High Dam.
• Continue to the beautiful Temple of Philae, majestically relocated to Agilkia Island.
• Transfer to your Nile Cruise ship and embark before lunch.
• Savor lunch on board as you set sail for Kom Ombo.
• Enjoy afternoon tea, then visit the unique Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the gods Sobek and Haroeris.
• Sail to Edfu for the night. Dinner is followed by a disco party on board.
• Accommodation: Overnight in Edfu.

Day 4: Sailing to Luxor via Edfu

• After breakfast, visit the magnificent Temple of Horus in Edfu, the best-preserved cult temple in Egypt.
• Return to the ship and sail towards Luxor, crossing the Esna Lock.
• Relax with afternoon tea on deck.
• In the evening, enjoy dinner and a traditional Galabya party on board.
• Accommodation: Overnight in Luxor.

Day 5: The West Bank's Royal Necropolis (Luxor)

• Following breakfast, disembark to explore Luxor's legendary West Bank.
• Your first stop is the Valley of the Kings, the final resting place for the pharaohs of the New Kingdom.
• Visit the stunning mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari.
• On the return journey, stop to admire the two imposing statues of the Colossi of Memnon.
• Return to the cruise for lunch, followed by an afternoon at your leisure.
• Accommodation: Overnight in Luxor.

Day 6: Disembarkation & Journey to the Red Sea (Sharm El-Sheikh)

• Enjoy a final breakfast on board before disembarking.
• The morning is free for you to relax or to take one of our popular optional excursions (see below).
• Transfer to Luxor Airport for your flight to the resort city of Sharm El-Sheikh.
• Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in.
• Accommodation: Overnight in Sharm El-Sheikh.
• Note: Most flights from Luxor to Sharm El-Sheikh are indirect and connect via Cairo.

Day 7 & 8: Leisure & Adventure in Sharm El-Sheikh

• Enjoy two full days at your leisure. Relax on the beautiful beaches, swim in the crystal-clear Red Sea, or explore the vibrant town of Naama Bay.
• Alternatively, you can choose from a variety of optional desert and sea excursions (see below).
• Breakfast is included at your hotel.
• Accommodation: Overnight in Sharm El-Sheikh.

Day 9: Overland Journey to Cairo

• After breakfast, depart from Sharm El-Sheikh for your return to Cairo in a comfortable, A/C bus.
• Upon arrival in Cairo, you will be transferred to your hotel.
• The evening is free, with an option to see the Sound & Light Show at the pyramids.
• Accommodation: Overnight in Cairo.

Day 10: Pyramids of the Past & Old Cairo

• After breakfast, journey back in time to the Sakkara necropolis to visit the Step Pyramid of King Djoser, the world's oldest major stone structure.
• Continue to Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt, to see the Colossal Statue of Ramses II.
• Explore the rich tapestry of Old Cairo, a center of early Christianity in Egypt. Visit the Hanging Church, the Church of St. Sergius (Abu Serga), and the historic Ben Ezra Synagogue.
• Return to your hotel for the evening.
• Accommodation: Overnight in Cairo.

Day 11: Final Departure

• Enjoy a final breakfast at your hotel.
• Our representative will transfer you to Cairo International Airport and assist you with your final departure formalities.
