Day 1: Welcome to Cairo

• Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative holding a “Valley of Kings Travel” sign.
• Enjoy a comfortable, private transfer in an air-conditioned (A/C) vehicle to your hotel.
• Accommodation: Overnight in Cairo.

Day 2: The Glories of Giza & Ancient Treasures

• Egyptian Museum: After breakfast, immerse yourself in 5,000 years of history at the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities. Discover the world's largest collection of pharaonic artifacts, including the priceless treasures of Tutankhamun's tomb.
• Giza Plateau: Stand in awe before the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerion. Get an up-close view of the enigmatic Sphinx, the ancient guardian of the Giza necropolis.
• Travel to Aswan: Transfer to the train station for your overnight journey to Aswan. Dinner and overnight accommodation will be on the train.

Travel Upgrade Recommendation

• For a more comfortable and efficient journey, we highly recommend upgrading the Day 2 overnight train to a domestic flight from Cairo to Aswan. This option saves significant travel time (approx. 1.5 hours flight vs. 15-18 hours train) and provides you with an additional night's accommodation in a 5-star hotel.

Day 3: Aswan & The Start of Your Nile Cruise

• After breakfast on the train, arrive in Aswan.
• Aswan's Landmarks: Visit the impressive High Dam and the beautiful Philae Temple, meticulously relocated to Agilkia Island.
• Embarkation: Transfer to your Nile cruise ship. Board before lunch and settle into your cabin.
• Cruise to Kom Ombo: Enjoy lunch on board as you begin your scenic sail. Later, visit the unique dual temple dedicated to the crocodile-god Sobek and the falcon-god Haroeris.
• Continue sailing to Edfu for the night. Dinner is followed by an onboard disco party.

Day 4: Edfu's Temple & Sailing to Luxor

• After breakfast, visit the magnificent Temple of Horus in Edfu, the best-preserved cult temple in Egypt.
• Return to the ship and sail towards Luxor, crossing the Esna Lock along the way.
• Enjoy afternoon tea and dinner on board, followed by a traditional Galabya party.
• Accommodation: Overnight in Luxor.

Day 5: Luxor's Majestic West Bank

• Following breakfast, cross the Nile to explore Luxor's legendary West Bank.
• Valley of the Kings: Discover the royal burial ground of pharaohs, where you can enter several of the stunningly decorated tombs.
• Temple of Hatshepsut: Visit the breathtaking terraced temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari.
• Colossi of Memnon: On your return, stop for a photo at the two gigantic statues of Amenhotep III that have stood guard for millennia.
• Return to the cruise for lunch and enjoy a free afternoon at your leisure.

Day 6: Luxor's East Bank & Journey to Hurghada

• Enjoy a final breakfast on board before disembarking.
• Transfer by a private A/C vehicle to the coastal city of Hurghada.
• Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy the evening.

• Enjoy a full day at your leisure. Relax on the beach, swim in the Red Sea, or explore the resort town.
• Accommodation: Overnight in Hurghada.
• Optional Excursion: Bedouin Desert Safari
  • Embark on a thrilling 4x4 Land Cruiser adventure into the Eastern Desert. Visit an authentic Bedouin village to learn about their traditions, enjoy a camel ride at sunset, and feast on a BBQ dinner under the stars.

Day 8: More Red Sea Relaxation

• Another full day to enjoy Hurghada at your own pace.
• Accommodation: Overnight in Hurghada.

  • Board a cruise to Giftun Island National Park for a fantastic day of snorkeling at vibrant coral reefs. Swim among colorful fish with a chance to spot dolphins, enjoy water sports, and savor an open buffet lunch on board.

Day 9: Return to Cairo

• After breakfast, depart from Hurghada on an A/C sharing bus for the journey back to Cairo.
• Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 10: Leisure or Historical Exploration in Cairo

  • Discover the origins of pyramid-building at Saqqara with a visit to the Step Pyramid of Djoser. Then, journey to Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt, to see the Colossal Statue of Ramses II. Conclude your day in Old Cairo, visiting the Hanging Church, the Church of St. Sergius (Abu Serga), and the Ben Ezra Synagogue.

Day 11: Final Departure

• Enjoy a final breakfast at your hotel.
• Our representative will transfer you to the airport and provide assistance with your final departure formalities.
